Frankenfeld & King Architects were appointed to redesign the new architectural corporate identity for Total SA (Pty) Ltd's highway sites. Our new concept combines the retail and toilet facilities within a single building with a single entrance. This vibrant interior allows for safe, convenient shopping, ablution and restaurant facilities. Other convenient retail needs such as safe banking, Internet facilities, and general local and tourist information are catered for.

From this successful design has emanated an ongoing rollout of these facilities with projects completed at Mossel Bay (Southern Cape) and Dwarsfontein (Mapumalanga), and new projects in the planning stages at Capricorn (Northern Province) and Storms River (Southern Cape).

Frankenfeld & King Architects have also provided the architectural and project management services for Total's smaller urban sites at various locations such as Observatory (Cape Town), Groot Brak and Sedgefield (Southern Cape).
